I'm Watching Gilmore Girls for the First Time

For the past ten years, I have heard "You need to watch Gilmore Girls" dozens of times. Since I am stubborn and don't want to give people the satisfaction of me liking popular TV shows, I am just now starting it. In the past month, I've watched Gilmore Girls almost every day and have made it through season 3.
In somewhat of a particular order, here are thoughts I've had while watching Gilmore Girls.
Melissa McCartney!
Private school is a lot of work.
Chad Michael Murray is at Chilton and named... Tristan...
Rory goes golfing in a killer outfit.
That golfing hat is going to kill Rory.
Lorelai named Rory after herself as a feminist move. I love it.
Lorelai wakes up just as well as I do.
I want to shop at Kim's Antiques but I think it's out of my price point.
Mrs. Kim is very good at getting things done.
Dean. I do not like him.
Mrs. Kim's logic is on point.
Rory cannot be dating Dean.
Paris is a lot.
Rory and Dean fell asleep in Miss Patty's barn.
Dean is a bad influence.
Lorelai and Mr. Medina are kind of cute in a totally wrong kind of way.
Don't kiss Max, Lorelai.
Lorelai's decision making skills suck.
Luke closed the diner to take Lorelai to the hospital to see her dad.
Luke needs to put that hat back on.
I can't believe Grandpa set up an interview for Rory at Yale.
Jackson and Sookie. Jackson and Sookie? Jackson and Sookie!
I wonder if men think I am as tall as Jackson's cousin thinks Lorelai is.
Luke had a girlfriend?!

Lorelai had an eight year old by the time she was my age.
Secret societies in high school are intense.
Rory reads. I like Rory.
Lorelai drives me nuts.

How is Lorelai going to hide this engagement from her parents?
Sweet Paris' issues with her parents. She just wants love and attention.
That means some of girls I went to high school with have eight year olds.
Kids scare me. How do people my age do it?
Why would they go to a party with guys they met at The Bangles concert? Dangerous!
Luke and Lorelai's not-painting party and not-a-date date is adorable.

Christopher is going to wreck Lorelai and Luke's not-a-date date.
But I am kind of ok with it.

Lorelai called Christopher at her bachelorette party. What does that mean?
Luke is not very good at town meetings.
